Happy Halloween from Neverland!

Every Year I do a theme for Halloween. There have been a few years where it was just me and the kids but last year I finally got Scott on board. This year we decided to to Peter Pan and to turn our trailer into a pirate ship for the Trunk-or-treat.  It was so much fun and the kids are already planning out what our theme for next year will be.

Pumpkin Walk

We love our annual pumpkin walk. This year it was really nice because it was warmer. We all really enjoyed looking at all the different scenes. They are so creative every year.

Fall Break

For Fall break this year I decided to put the kids to work. So they scrubbed cabinets and chairs and mopped the floor. They had a ton of fun and did a pretty good job.

Just for the record I do own a mop but it is way more fun to turn the kitchen floor into a slip and slide!

Island Park and General Conference.

My parents invited us up to Island Park over general conference. We had so much fun exploring the area during sessions and it was really nice to be able to listen to conference without worring about anything else.

Picking apples

A friend of ours found a place where we could pick a bunch of fruit for free.  We had a blast harvesting the fruit and I had a lot of fun learning how to make applesauce, can pears, and make grape jelly. I didn't realize how many apples we ended up with but it was enough to make somewhere around 70 quarts of applesauce.
