Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentines week was crazy this year! Three kids needed Valentine boxes as well as valentines for the class. Of course the camera decided to stop working as soon as the girls boxes were done but I did at least get a picture of Stevens first box. He loved passing out valentines to his friends. The kids and I actually spent the holiday in Rexburg visiting with my brother who just got home.

Emma really wanted in on the picture taking and she is so cute so what could I do!

2014 EBLS Winter Olympics

My girls school does a lot of fun activities. This year with the winter Olympics they decided to hold their own. They invited the parents to the opening exercises.  They did a great job. There was a flag ceremony, a passing of the torch and a fun program. The kids were divided up into countries and competed in different events for medals.

Malaya was on the Belarus team and won a Gold medal in the ski jump event.

Crafting

The young women asked me to come teach them how to make shrugs for some formal dresses that were immodest. I had never made them so I figured I should probably make one before trying to teach. My good friend Sara offered to help out in the activity and we decided to sew on the machines that the ward owns.  It was a good thing we did because it took us 2 hours to figure out how to work the machine.  The shrugs were pretty simple and the girls did a great job. I heard they even did glamour shots for new beginnings.

Birthday Party!

Miss Natalie has been asking for a birthday party for a months but her birthday is in December which is a crazy month. Add to that the fact that I was in my first trimester of pregnancy # 5 and we didn't get around to it until February. She had fun learning how to pipe on her birthday cake and loved having friends over.
