My baby Girl is 5 today. I can't believe how fast time flies. Malaya is such a joy! She is so excited to start Kindergarten this August. She is reading, can count to 100, she loves singing and dancing. Her favorite color is red and I think that fits her personality well :) She is an excellent helper and is just fun.
Malaya was 5 days late, which wouldn't be so bad except that the Doctor said that it would be any day from 36 weeks on. Scott and I were still in school but rapidly approaching finals. Scott came home from work at midnight and promptly fell asleep I started having contractions. At that point I was convinced that she was never coming out. I finally woke Scott up when I started throwing up. We went in and confirmed that I was in Labor. They gave me an epidural and we waited. My Parents came and were awesome. At 10:32am Miss Malaya joined our family at 7lbs 11 oz and 20.5 inches long.

Yes, this is the face that greeted the nurses. She was not happy about the situation. She didn't cry though just grunted in protest.
We Graduated when she was 3 weeks old.I didn't realize how little she was when she started dancing.
She thought that Diaper rash cream was lotion. We learned not to have the Diaper supplies hanging on the crib. She has some issues with her legs and was in braces for 6 months. She was a really good sport!
First Day of Preschool
