Birthday Party!

 Miss Natalie has been asking for a birthday party for a months but her birthday is in December which is a crazy month. Add to that the fact that I was in my first trimester of pregnancy # 5 and we didn't get around to it until February. She had fun learning how to pipe on her birthday cake and loved having friends over. 

Sledding

We decided that with the nice long break and me feeling a little bit better we would take the kids out sledding. Steven was very hesitant at first but after going down a few times with dad he was all for it.

Emma loved sledding and didn't want to wait for her turn. 

After a little while of sledding Emma decided that it would be more fun to play on the slide. She even got to go extra fast because the slides were covered in a thick layer of ice.

Christmas Day

Christmas eve after our play we put the kids to bed and started setting up for Christmas. We were so excited because the stockings were filled and all the presents were under the tree by 8:30. We went to bed around 10 but Miss Emma was sick and woke up every hour from 11:00 on. She would scream for 20 minutes and then fall asleep. It was a really long night. The kids woke up around 6:30 but we had told them not to wake us up until 7. They came in and sang us some songs to wake us up and then we went down stairs. The kids made out like bandits and had fun playing with there new things.
