Over the Hill at 30

Scott turned 30 yesterday. It was really hard for him but somewhat amusing for me. He woke up and started complaining that his back was hurting and then his knee was hurting and he was going grey and any other complaint an old person might have. Personally I think that it was mostly psychological. We had a party with some friends. He requested Steak and sweet potatoes for dinner and pecan and strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert. We had a great time.

I am so grateful for Scott and the wonderful husband and father that he is. He makes me smile everyday. I love him so much!

Elder Johnson is Home!

My brother has been serving in Bolivia and Peru for the last two years. He came home on Friday night. It was so awesome to see him again. His suit was faded and you could see backpack lines in it. We had a big welcome home party and then he spoke in my parent's old ward and in the Glacial Park Ward where we grew up. He looks so good and we are so glad to have him home.
